Join Us On The Thames

We are pleased to announce that Endeavour is all ready to go off on her travels again.

This time, it's a trip from Leigh up to St Katherine's Dock which is located just alongside Tower Bridge. We will be motoring up and meeting around 10 other boats from the Association of Dunkirk Little ships at the dock.

Endeavour plans to leave Leigh on Friday Sept 4th and stay for the weekend, returning on Monday Sept 7th. It's a nice trip up, seeing the all sites from the river – especially good if it's nice weather of course!

As usual, members are invited and most welcome to join in the trip either to London or back. Of course, it doesn't cost much to become a member, so don’t let that hold you back!!

If you would be interested in joining the trip in either direction, or find out more information, then please drop an email back to, and we can let you know more details (what to wear, refreshments for the trip etc etc).

Numbers are limited so get your request/enquiry in quickly!

Facebook Donations Go Live

From time to time the Trust receives correspondence from individuals who might not be a member of the Trust, but would like to make a donation to help out. To help out, we added a PayPal Donate button to our website a little while ago, but now we're  delighted to announce that the Trust has been approved to recieve donations from users on Facebook.

This means that you will now see a blue 'Donate' button on our Facebook page via which you can make a donation of whatever amount you please to the Leigh-on-Sea Endeavour Trust. 100% of your donation comes to us; Facebook does not charge us fees.

Both means of donating to us are pretty self-explanatory, and full instructions are given on the screen.

We have added information about Facebook Pay, the mechanism for making a payment, to our website ( to answer questions and reassure users that their information will be handled securely and in compliance with all relevant data protection legislation.

Furthermore, if you would like to support our fundraising from your own Facebook page, for example, by asking if people would make a donation to us on your birthday, for example, or simply because you value the work of the Trust and wish to see it continue, you can now do so simply by including the following link on your page:

If you are in a position where you are able to make a donation, no matter how big or small small, you can be assured it really does make an enormous difference, particularly in the current trying circumstances where normal fundraising has been extremely difficult.

To all our members and supporters, we would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Without you, our work couldn't go ahead.
