Peter Dolby gives a presentation to
Springfield Primary School in Chelmsford
Community and Education Programme
Our volunteers are experienced at giving talks telling Endeavour’s story from original build, life as a cockle boat, and her participation in the Dunkirk evacuation, to  the restoration project and participation in the anniversaries of Operation Dynamo.

We love to visit schools and charity groups. The talks often include a PowerPoint presentation and, especially for the younger audiences, yokes and baskets.

We regard these talks as an important part of our role in keeping alive the memory of Leigh’s fishing industry. We are always keen to find new audiences so if you would be interested in having a visit from a member of the Trust to discuss Endeavour with you, please email us.

  1. Can you get in touch with me to discuss the possibility of a talk about The Endeavour. We are a Leigh social club who have regularly met for a variety of events until it all have to stop. Kind regards Diana
