Summer Social at the Osbornes
Sixty members and friends gathered at Osbornes Cafe, Billet Wharf, on 17th July on a fine summer’s evening. A BBQ skewer meal was served by the friendly staff and enjoyed by all, while the mastless Endeavour lay on her mooring nearby.
There was quite a bit of chat about where the new mast might come from (see story) among other topics.

Thank You!
The Trust would like to thank Valerie Grover for the generous donation of £500 on behalf of her late husband John.
We would also like to thank John Hill and Pam Blakeby; not only does John loan his garage for Endeavour storage, but they donate to the Trust each year!
COVID-19 not only impacted our ability to get out on the water with Endeavour, but also had a big impact on our ability to raise funds in a year when significant and expensive work was required to maintain her.
Any donations are gratefully received and help keep Endeavour sailing. For donation info visit endeavourtrust.blogspot.com/p/donate.html
Making Donations to the Trust
All money that is received by the Trust, irrespective of method of donation, will be used to maintain Endeavour and ensure she’s used for the purposes for which the Trust was established and registered with the Charities Commission.
We know that there are many pressures on people’s time and money, and we are always incredibly humbled by and grateful for the generosity of our supporters. Thank you!

Endeavour Comes Ashore
Endeavour Colouring Book
The following article was published in the Leigh Times: The Leigh-on-Sea Endeavour Trust is a charity established to ensure that Leigh's very own Dunkirk Little Ship, The Endeavour, is maintained to the highest possible order for future generations.
They both saw the potential of designing and producing a children's colouring book about the Endeavour story, and the team immediately set out to scope the project.
The A4 colouring book is now complete and available to buy! It is 28 pages and made up of many illustrations of Endeavour's activities – examples below.
The excellent colouring book can be bought for only £5 from rob@endeavourtrust.co.uk – with free delivery in the Southend area or postage from just £1.50 or call/text 07854610777 for further details.
All the proceeds from our sales go towards the upkeep of Endeavour. She is currently undergoing her yearly maintenance in Leigh Marina, and will be back on her mooring between The Peter Boat and Osborne's in the spring. The Endeavour Trust has been very impressed with the professional work that Amy has produced and we hope to work with her again in the near future on other projects for the Trust.
Check out our website for further details, where you’ll find our shop: www.endeavourtrust.co.uk and you can see more of Amy's work on her website: www.amyellenillustrator.co.uk
