Summer Reception a Great Success!

Building on previous years’ events, the Endeavour Summer Reception at Osbourne’s in Leigh Old Town was another resounding success, building on previous year’s events.  Over 50 of us were treated to an excellent seafood dinner from Jason and our brilliant hosts at Osborne’s.  
The Hoy Shanty Crew performed two excellent sessions, and Lewis’s attentive staff from the Crooked Billet kept the supply of drinks going throughout the evening.  Thanks to everyone involved in keeping our guests so well fed, watered and entertained, making it such a great evening!  
 
The raffle made £275 for Trust funds. We would like to give a very big thank you to everybody who donated raffle prizes for your generosity and we are sure that everyone whose ticket was drawn were delighted with their prizes.
 
During the evening,  we were humbled and astonished when one of our guests made a donation of £500, which will make an enormous difference to our work. The donor has asked to remain anonymous, but we hope that they know how very grateful we are for their generosity.  

All in all, a really excellent evening topped off with a shining sun. 

We look forward to doing it all again next year.
