Endeavour’s Laying Up Supper is going ahead at the Chalkwell Park Rooms on Friday 1st November. Tickets are £27.50 and menu options are:
STARTERS
A Oak Smoked Scottish Salmon & King Prawn Salad – bound with lemon mayonnaise and sun-dried tomatoes served in a bed of mixed Lettuce leaves
B Serrano Ham Wrapped Pillow of Pork Pate – served with side salad and roasted garlic & onion chutney with ciabatta toast
C Casserole of Woodland Mushrooms –in a garlic cream sauce served on toasted rosemary ciabatta (v)
D Thai Fish cakes – served on a bed of mixed leaves with mango dip
MAINS
E Roasted Sirloin of English Beef – served with roasted cherry tomatoes and button mushrooms and a rich red wine sauce
F Grilled Sea Bass fillet – served on crushed new potatoes medley of olives and sundried tomatoes and beurre blanc
G Stuffed Roasted Red Peppers – filled with a fine ratatouille topped with cheddar and mozzerella (v)
H Char-grilled Chicken Breast filled with Chorizo and Mozzarella - served with a Tomato and Pesto sauce
All Mains served with a selection of veg and potatoes plus crusty roll & butter.
PUDDINGS
I Whipped Cream filled Profiteroles – with warm chocolate sauce and vanilla cream
J Creamy Bischoff Tiramisu – served with fresh strawberry and Whipped Vanilla Cream
K Individual Syrup Sponge – served with creamy Custard Sauce
M Glazed Mango and Raspberry Mousse – light creamy mousse served with Forest Berries and Vanilla Ice Cream
Freshly Brewed Tea or Coffee & Milk Chocolates
Please let Cameron McGregor (01702 460856 ) know name(s) and choices (eg B G K) asap and then, if possible, pay by transfer directly to our HSBC Bank account - details from Cameron on request (we don't like to put them on the website, just in case) with ref ‘Layup’ and your surname. It must be understood that once meals have been ordered they must be paid for.
There will be tables for eight – if you would like to sit with specific people, please let us know and we will do our best.
