Endeavour is on her way to Antwerp in Belgium along with a fleet of Dunkirk little ships. Paul Gilson was in command with Alan Bartram and new member Andrew Sales as crew.
The boat was heading for Ramsgate before sailing in convoy to Nieuwpoort.

Thereafter the fleet will travel on the canal system to Bruges, Ghent and on to Antwerp where the city is commemorating its liberation in September 1944.
In Antwerp they will join the Royal Navy frigate
HMS Argyll, the Canadian frigate
HMCS St John’s, the Dutch navy vessel
Ms Zeeland and the Belgian vessel

At the end of the event
Endeavour will cross the North Sea and head for home in time to take part in Leigh Regatta.
Doubtless there will be adventures which we shall cover in the next newsletter, but in the meantime, enjoy some of Paul's photographs from the trip!
