How lovely to see so many happy faces from some of our members enjoying a trip out along the seafront on Endeavour on the 16th of August!
Stewart Thomas was one of them and he wrote to us to say, "Thank you for taking us out on your 'little ship' on Friday and arranging the calm weather and the Lancaster bomber fly past! Many thanks and congratulations on your work to keep this piece of history alive."
It’s really important to the Trust that the boat is accessible to our community and we love giving members the opportunity to go out on her.
Please do check the dates when Endeavour might be able to make a trip and speak with us. Naturally all trips are subject to us having enough volunteers and weather being suitable, and we cannot promise a Lancaster bomber fly past on every trip, sadly!
While Endeavour is only insured for members, please remember that the price of a membership compares very favourably for what you would pay for a single trip on most pleasure craft, so just because someone’s not a member yet, it’s no reason not to suggest taking a trip on Endeavour!
